Heavy Duty Expansion Joint

The Blanke Heavy Duty Expansion Joint is designed to tolerate heavy loads and maximum movement in tiled floors.  It will drastically help absorb movement caused by shrinkage, structure settling, substrate expansion and contraction, and vibration.   The Heavy Duty Expansion and Movement Joints are constructed with aluminum, brass, or stainless steel edges filled with a non-tacky silicone sealant.  Because the sealant is cured in a factory controlled environment according to the manufacturer's specifications, and not at the construction site, the finish of the Heavy Duty Expansion Joint is consistently high quality and uniform.

The Blanke Heavy Duty Expansion Joint has excellent resistance to grease, oil, and cleaning chemicals.  The metal profiles come in 8 foot lengths, and are available in aluminum, brass, and stainless steel finishes.
